#한국국제교류재단 은 #주한네덜란드대사관 과 <변덕스러운 부피와 두께 - 네덜란드 최고의 책 디자인 한국의 아티스트북을 만나다 Versatile Volumes – The Best Dutch Book Designs Meet Korean Artists' Books> 전시를 6.23~8.13까지 서울 #KF갤러리 에서 온오프라인으로 개최합니다. 한-네덜란드 수교 60주년을 기념하며 개최되는 동 전시는 그래픽 강국 네덜란드에서 1926년부터 이어져온 ‘네덜란드 최고의 책 디자인 어워드’ 2019년 수상작 도서 33권과 한국의 아티스트북 17권, 연계 사진·설치 미술 작품들을 함께 선보여 그래픽 디자인, 타이포그래피 등 한-네덜란드 책 디자인의 독창성과 창의성을 입체적으로 체험할 수 있는 기회를 제공하는 동시에 양국 간 문화 교류를 한층 깊어지게 하는 계기를 마련합니다.

The Korea Foundation (#KF), in collaboration with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Korea, host the Versatile Volumes – The Best Dutch Book Designs Meet Korean Artists’ Books exhibition from June 23 to August 13, 2021. The exhibition commemorates the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Netherlands and the Republic of Korea.
The Best Dutch Book Designs, first bestowed in 1926, is an award granted each year to 33 selected books in the Netherlands, a country considered to be a powerhouse of graphic design. The exhibition features the 33 Best Dutch Book Designs of 2019 exhibited alongside 17 artists’ books from Korea. The event’s design as an art book exhibition has been enhanced with the participation of the Dutch graphic designer studio Team Thursday, and the Korean artists RohwaJeong and Kyoungtae Kim. This collaborative exhibition with art professionals from the Netherlands and Korea not only provides a way of experiencing diversity and artistry in books but also serves as an opportunity to deepen cultural exchanges between the two countries.
