• Dear Sir/Madam: I am a cum laude graduate under the degree program of Agricultural Economics major in Agricultural Marketing and Prices at the University of the Philippines. I applied to Seoul National University's Graduate Scholarship for Excellent Foreign Students (GSFS) and got admitted under the International Studies program of the Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS) for this FALL Semester of 2008. However, the scholarship only covers a tuition fee waver. I would like to inquire if there is any scholarship available that would allow me to cover the cost of living allowance in Seoul such as dormitory and food expenses, as well as round-trip ticket from the Philippines to South Korea, and vice-versa. Your assistance and help with be highly appreciated. For your information, I was once an exchange student under the ASEAN University Network and Republic of Korea (through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade) College Exchange Scholarship Program at Daejeon University. Due to that experience, I realized how important it is to pursue further studies after a bachelor's degree, more so, how promising it is to have a degree in a very reputable Korean university. I hope I can realize that dream and hopefully my admission to GSIS and being awarded of the GSFS will not turn out as a waste.
