Under the invitation program of 'Next-Generation Leaders visit to Korea', eleven prominent individuals from Latin American countries will visit Korea during the period of October 6 to October 13. These Next-Generation Leaders are important figures from the spheres of politics, government, academia and business, who are expected to play important roles in Latin America. During this visit, participants will be briefed and have discussions on Korea's foreign policy and mutual cooperative exchange between Korea and Latin America by visiting the Regulatory Reform Committee, National Assembly and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, as well as Ministry of Information and Communication. They will also visit Korea Institute for International Economic Policy (KIEP), Korea Trade- Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) to discuss the economic development and current trade issues. In addition, they will have a chance to enjoy diverse aspects of Korea by visiting historical sites in Seoul and Gyeongju and by touring the industrial facilities of Samsung Electronics.
