In cooperation with the Chinese People's Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) (Chairman: Yang Wenchang), the Foundation will host the 19th Korea-China Forum for the Future, in Beijing on March 25, 2014. This bilateral gathering, which includes the participation of leading representatives of the government, legislature, media, academia, civil society, and cultural sectors of the two countries, was launched in Beijing in 1994, and has been held each year thereafter in the two countries on an alternating basis. At this year’s forum, the delegations from the two countries will engage in efforts to advance mutual understanding and closer cooperation through the formation of forward-looking relations, along with addressing key issues of both countries, including the political situation of Northeast Asia.
