Koreana is a quarterly journal that offers readers a diverse variety of information on the culture, arts, people, literature, and environment of Korea, along with in-depth coverage of a selected feature or theme. Koreana was launched with an Englishlanguage edition in 1987, and is now available in nine languages (English, Japanese, Spanish, Chinese, French, Russian, Arabic, German, and Indonesian), with an annual distribution of some 89,000 copies. The upcoming issue, in which the special feature is about Incheon, includes articles about Incheon International Airport, Incheon's history as the first Korean port that was opened to foreigners, the local residents of Incheon, the Chinatown district, and the islands off the coast of Incheon.
