ASEAN-ROK Gourmet Banquet: Food Culture Film Screenings
Every weekend from January 16 to February 21, movies that present the culinary cultures of Korean and other Asian peoples will be screened at the ASEAN Culture House. Held alongside the special exhibition, ASEAN Street Food: Hororok Chopchop Omulomul, the screenings will present various films that highlight food, including films that focus on the ASEAN staple of noodles; portray people cooking for loved ones or eating together; and deal with the feelings, such as happiness, that are shared by people while eating. To enhance viewers’ interest and understanding, the screenings will be accompanied by discussions with a barista, a script writer, and a documentary producer, each of whom are related to the movies that will be screened.
