With sponsorship support from the KF, the 14th Korea-Germany Forum was co-hosted by the Institute for International Trade and Cooperation at Ewha Womans University and the German-Korean Forum Incorporated Association, held in Rostock, Germany, on July 16-17. To mark 70 years of Korea’s independence and 25 years of Germany’s unification, this year’s forum event was attended by scholars, media representatives, and influential executives from both nations, including President Hyun-seok Yu of the KF, who gathered to discuss key bilateral issues and cooperative measures.
 Also in July, the KF co-hosted the eighth Korea-ASEAN Forum in cooperation with the Institute of Strategic and International Studies (ISIS) Malaysia. To commemorate the launch of the ASEAN Community 2015, the gathering provided a venue for attendees to discuss cooperative measures among ASEAN members. In addition, ASEAN leaders were briefed on the priorities of Korea’s foreign policy initiatives.
