The KF invited 15 representatives of Vietnam’s leading financial institutions to visit Korea on June 28-July 4. The delegation, led by Nguyen Hai Nam, Director of Vietnam’s State Securities Commission, visited various Korean financial institutions, such as the Financial Supervisory Service, the Korea Stock Exchange, the Financial Services Commission, the Bank of Korea, the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Korea Asset Management Corporation, Mirae Asset Securities, Busan Bank, Shinhan Bank, Hana Bank, and Nonghyup Bank.
 The group discussed Korea’s systems of financial governance, a financial version of the Korean Wave, and measures to strengthen the competitiveness of financial enterprises. And to enhance their understanding of Korea’s past and present, the delegation toured the Nurimaru APEC House, Gwangalli Beach, and Haedong Yonggungsa Temple in Busan, as well as Bulguksa Temple, Daereungwon Tomb Complex, and Gyeongju National Museum in Gyeongju. The visit will hopefully encourage Korean financial institutions to further expand their business activities in Vietnam.
