In spite of the summer’s intense heat in July, the KF held its latest Meet the World in Korea event at the Mideum Community Children’s Center, in Ansan. Along with Kyohongi, the tiger mascot of the Education and Promotion Team, the children learned from the program’s international volunteers about Fiji and Malaysia. Cultural activities included drawing the native patterns of Fiji and the animals of Malaysia, coloring the images, and incorporating the work into their own handheld fan. To stay clean during the summer months, the children also made their own hand sanitizer solutions
