Last month, the Korean Culture Class tried the Templestay experience. We asked Swarnim Singh from India to share some thoughts on the experience.

This was your first time partaking in a Korean Culture Class event. How was it?
I think it's a good idea to hold events like this. Everything went as planned, and we had a good time while incurring little cost. Looking back, if I had experienced the Templestay program alone, I'm not sure if I would have learned as much about Korean culture as I did. I experienced new things, made new friends, and acquired a better understanding of Korean culture and tradition. I also got to practice my Korean and make new memories. I can't wait for the next event!.

What was your favorite part about your Templestay experience?
The morning meditation session near the beach was one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Are you going to partake in other Korean Culture Class events in the future? Why or why not?
Yes, of course. I'm going to take part in next month's event. As a foreigner, it's really convenient because I don't have to worry about transportation or accommodation. It's also affordable for students like me and allows participants to learn more about Korean culture.
