Spring Field Trip for Korean Language Training Fellows

A total of 72 fellows of the Korean Language Training program enjoyed a field trip to Gyeongju and Andong (April 17-19), to enhance their understanding about the history and traditional culture of Korea. The group visited the Buseoksa Buddhist Temple, Hahoe Village, Seokguram Grotto, Bulguksa Buddhist Temple, and other historic attractions of Silla and Joseon, along with the Gyeongju National Museum, to appreciate Korea’s traditional cultural heritage. They also had an opportunity to relax amid the gorgeous landscape of Gyeongsang-do Province. In addition, they were able to enhance their understanding about Korean culture by personally experiencing Korean traditions, like the rubbing of engraved inscriptions.
The field trip served as an occasion for the KF Fellows to deepen their friendships with each other.
