Find Hidden Symbolic Animals in Cambodia’s Royal Arms! Gajasingha and Rajasingha

At the entrance of Gyeongbok Palace in Seoul, there is an animal statue that looks like a lion at first glance. This mythical, fire-eating animal is called the haechi. The haechi statue has been placed there to protect the palace, which, because it is mainly made of wood, is therefore prone to destruction in the case of fire. While Korea has its haechi, Cambodia has two mythical beasts of its own—the gajasingha and rajasingha.
