Gambus The pear-shaped gambus is lute-like instrument used to play melodies. The 12 strings are plucked with a pick, and it is especially suited to perform funky and upbeat sounds.

Rebana A rebana is a one-sided percussion instrument. Because it covers high and low pitches, it is great for playing traditional Malaysian music that spans a wide range of notes.
