On August 29, the ASEAN Culture House held its second annual Open Stage concert, which introduced a range of distinctive instruments from ASEAN. The concert showcased a traditional Asian orchestra comprised of leading musicians from Korea and the 10 ASEAN members, producing a vibrant, uplifting melody. The harmony of the many instruments each with its own characteristic sound left a powerful impression on the crowd, embodying the spirit of ‘One Asia.’ Following the concert, audience members were given the opportunity to participate themselves by learning how to wield the different traditional instruments of each ASEAN country, promoting a greater appreciation for ASEAN music.
