The KF will be inviting 26 prominent foreign scholars to Korea under its new program ”2017 KF Invitation Program for Distinguished Guests in Academia.” The guests, who are from 26 countries and are currently active in the fields of education and academia, include the Minister of Education in El Salvador and the counsellor of Leiden University. Invitees will meet with Korean academics and discuss ways of working together in their respective fields. They are expected to look closely into Korea’s use of information technology for the betterment of the educational system and seek cooperation with higher institutions and research institutes in Korea. It is hoped that the upcoming visit of this distinguished group will foment meaningful academic exchange between Korea and the 26 countries.
