11th Korea-Spain Forum
June 14–16, the KF will be hosting the 11th Korea-Spain Forum in Seoul. Leading figures representing the two countries in the fields of politics, economy, science, culture, and journalism will have an open discussion about various issues of mutual interest. Launched in 2003, it has been held a total of ten times (alternately in Korea and Spain). The forum aims to seek opportunities for new channels of cooperation and develop a vision for a future-oriented relationship between Korea and Spain.
The main theme of this year’s forum is “Public Diplomacy for Better Mutual Understanding.” Subtopics include “Public Diplomacy and Country Image,” “Economic and Technical Cooperation,” “Multilateral Agreement & Challenges in a Globalized World,” and “Multiculturalism and Literature.” Participants will also discuss ways to enhance bilateral cooperation and public diplomacy in their respective fields of expertise.
