Open Call for 2022 UK-Korea Creative Commissions for the Climate
The Korea Foundation and the British Council are accepting applications for the 2022 UK-Korea Creative Commissions, a project which merges art, science, and digital technology to seek innovative ways to counter climate change.
Launched in 2021 in the wake of the P4G (Partnership for Green Growth and the Global Goals 2030) Seoul Summit and the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland, the project is being carried out through support for cooperation by Korean and British experts of the arts, science, and digital technology to deal with imminent global issues stemming from climate change. The winning team will receive prize money in the amount of KRW 70 million.
From August to November 2021, “Gathering Moss,” a Korea-UK joint project hosted by Art Center Nabi, British media center Watershed, and Korean media art duo Bang & Lee, was selected and promoted. For more detailed information about this project, please visit their digital platform

For the 2022 UK-Korea Creative Commissions for the Climate, applications will be received by June 17 (Fri). More information is available on the websites of the KF (www.kf.or.kr) and the British Council (www.britishcouncil.kr).
