The 2022 Korean Art Week

The KF, in collaboration with Dartmouth College and the National Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, Korea (MMCA), will hold the 2022 Korean Art Week in Massachusetts and New Hampshire from Thursday, November 3 to Sunday, November 6.

This event is part of the KF’s annual Korean Art Curator Workshop, which has contributed to the spread of Korean art abroad by supporting Korean-related professionals at major overseas museums since its launch in 1999. This year, more than twenty US-based experts will attend Korean Art Since the 1980s: Dynamism and Expansion, an international symposium on Korean contemporary art. The 2022 Next Generation Korean Art Curator Workshop will also be held in collaboration with the Korea Institute, Harvard University. On the last day of the event, there will be site visits including the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, as a tour of Korean galleries and Korean-related collections.

The 2022 Korean Art Week will contribute to the KF’s ongoing mission to promote a better understanding of Korea and strengthen its friendships within the international community, while also serving as an important milestone in fostering the next generation of Korean art specialists in North America.
