Third ASEAN Cinema Week

From March 23 through April 8, the ASEAN Culture House in Busan will hold its third ASEAN Cinema Week. Taking place both on- and offline, the event presents a rare opportunity to learn more about ASEAN countries’ cultures and societies through the medium of film.

This year’s ASEAN Cinema Week will open with an Indonesian film to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Indonesia and Korea. Touring Seoul, Busan, and Jeonju, a dozen acclaimed films will be screened, along with TV series from different streaming services. Each film screening will be followed by a guest visit (GV) during which directors and cast will talk about the films with the audience. Enjoy ASEAN films by visiting the ASEAN Cinema Week!
