Binge-worthy: Stranger Things Season 4 – Recommendation by Eunjin Jang

The fourth season of Stranger Things, one of Netflix’s flagship series, was released worldwide in May last year, three years after the previous season came out in 2019. Initially, the American Netflix series did not catch my interest, despite its first season becoming a global sensation in 2016. It was only after seeing a teaser announcing the latest season that I began watching it from the very beginning. I ended up binging all eight episodes of season one in three or four days.

Set in the 1980s, this science-fiction horror series takes place in the fictional small town of Hawkins, Indiana. The series follows its main characters, many of whom are children, as they unveil secrets involving human experimentation and alternate dimensions. It was especially captivating watching elementary children struggle to solve mysteries, and their adventures are not only fun, but moving too. This series also reminded me of the movie The Goonies and the book Trouble at Timpetill. If you are a fan of sci-fi and mysteries, you cannot miss Stranger Things.
