As part of the KF Invitation Program for Distinguished Guests in Academia, the Foundation will host 24 academic figures from 22 countries on April 24-30. The visiting delegation will include such prominent academics as the President of Chukyo University and the Director of the Hamburg Institute for Social Research. During their stay, the delegates will visit leading universities and educational institutes in Korea to discuss ways to bolster academic exchange with Korea. Korean Studies scholars who have worked on Korea-Japan relations and conducted research on Asian regional studies will spend time with the visitors to enhance their understanding of Korea with regard to their particular research areas.
