As part of the KF Future-Oriented Exchange Program between Korea and Vietnam, Nguyen Thien Nhan, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnamese Fatherland Front, is invited to visit Korea on August 17–21, 2016. During his stay, Chairman Nguyen will present a lecture on the achievements of Vietnam’s reform efforts over the past 30 years. Based on Chairman Nguyen’s keen interest in Korea’s agricultural development, as well as its measures to promote cultural activities, participatory democracy, and high-tech industries, he plans to visit relevant institutes to assess possible benchmark models and to discuss cooperative endeavors to strengthen Korea-Vietnam relations in the future.
