‘Splash ASEAN! Water, a Celebration of Life’

A special exhibition celebrating the 30th anniversary of dialogue relations between Korea and ASEAN opened at the ASEAN Culture House in Busan on June 18.
   Titled Splash ASEAN! Water, a Celebration of Life, the exhibition will continue through September 22, exploring the material and spiritual cultures of ASEAN countries through their close ties to water, a consequence of their natural environments. On display will be a variety of items including crafts, picture books, installations, videos, and other multimedia that provide a glimpse into the lives of ASEAN people and their utilization of water.
  Splash ASEAN! was designed to help visitors gain insight into the regional characteristics of ASEAN that have been shaped by the use of water as an abundant resource. Guests are invited to discover the deep-rooted symbolic and ritualistic significance of water in ASEAN culture.
