Second World Cultural Industry Forum Explores Convergence of Culture and Technology

On July 1, the second KF-supported World Cultural Industry Forum (WCIF) will be held in Daegu. Under the theme “The Convergence of Culture and Technology,” the forum aims to predict upcoming changes in the global music and entertainment industry and build international cooperation to address post-COVID-19 challenges to the entertainment sector.

Following keynote speeches by SM Entertainment Executive Producer Lee Soo-man, MGM Group Chairman Mark Burnett, and Hollywood producer Teddy Zee, KF President Lee Geun will preside over a special discussion on “Technology and the Future Entertainment Industry.”

The KF will continue to enhance cooperation among cultural institutions to help Korea’s cultural and technological industries maintain a leading role in the post-COVID-19 era.
