[Infographic] Korea Achieves Record-high 32nd Spot in Transparency Rankings

The Republic of Korea scored a record-high 62 out of 100 points to rank 32nd among 180 countries in the 2021 Corruption Perceptions Index (CPI) released on January 25 by Transparency International (TI).

CPI is a globally representative anti-corruption index that assesses each country’s level of corruption in the public and political sector. The TI publishes the CPI every year since 1995. This result can be attributable to the government’s anti-corruption reform efforts and citizens’ efforts to fight corruption so far.
