Happy New Year to all KF Newsletter readers! May 2022 bring happiness and good health to each and every one of you!

This past year was tough due to the prolonged pandemic, but we have managed to maintain our daily lives by working together and not giving up.

Last year, the Korea Foundation celebrated the 30th anniversary of its establishment, a milestone made more meaningful by a variety of commemorative programs and projects. Through these efforts, the KF shared its public diplomacy achievements and sought new directions for the next 30 years to come.

For the new year, the KF is preparing mature and positive steps to enhance mutual understanding and confident interactions between Korea and members of the international community. The KF will exhibit its abilities as the nation’s top promoter of public diplomacy by continuously spearheading and strengthening digital public diplomacy in the post-COVID-19 era, expanding cooperation with prominent public diplomacy institutes overseas in the area of universal human values, and building a global network of experts in major future-oriented fields and trends.

I hope the Year of the Tiger invigorates you and helps you leap forward into the future with an open mind and sound body.
