ICOOS’s “Europe Dreamers”

ICOOS is an organization for international cultural exchange based on the belief that youth need experience above anything else and that experience motivates their personal growth. Since 2008, ICOOS has offered young people opportunities to pursue their dreams and future through programs that allow them to directly experience the world and set their own visions. The three pillars of such programs are “Europe Dreamers,” global education, and assignments in countries around the world that offer new experiences and help young people find their dreams and career paths.

Now in its 14th year, the “Europe Dreamers” program supports international travel by people in their 20s, mostly collegians who take part in exchange activities with the outside world. By conducting missions to publicize Korean culture with teammates, participants can accumulate 88 hours of volunteer service. The program also takes them to nine cities in six major European countries such as France, Switzerland, and the UK. This winter, each team will spend three weeks observing and experiencing European culture and history and planning and conducting publicity on Korea.
