KF and Portuguese Embassy Jointly Present The Enchanted Loom

From April 24 to May 31, the KF and the Portuguese Embassy in Korea jointly present The Enchanted Loom exhibition at the KF Gallery. It will feature the works of three Portuguese artists, namely Bela Silva, Bruno Castro Santos and Jorge Nesbitt.

In her ceramics and drawings, Bela Silva combines the alluring inspiration found during her travels to South America and Asia with traditional Portuguese aesthetics. Bruno Castro Santos unfolds a new dimension of fantasy—going beyond the flat surface through the repetition and accumulation of lines and layers. Jorge Nesbitt, using linocut techniques and remarkable colors, leaves indelible impressions on the minds of viewers with his magnified drawings.

In showing the vastly different approaches and techniques of these three artists, the exhibition is expected to deliver a taste of Portuguese aesthetic charm and visual art to Korean audiences. Admission to the exhibition is free. For more information, please visit the KF website (www.kf.or.kr).
