Violinist Aisha Syed Castro will take the KF Gallery’s Open Stage in July. Aisha entered the Yehudi Menuhin School in the United Kingdom as the institution’s first Latina student, and has since been a regular on the global classical music circuit. She is also active as her country’s Goodwill Ambassador, promoting the culture of the Dominican Republic.
  On the Open Stage, Castro will present a wide repertoire with pianist Park Young-sung, including Spanish dance numbers by Manuel de Falla, Paganini’s “La Campanella,” works by French composer César Franck, and various Dominican pieces.
