KOREA FOUNDATION

The KF is inviting cultural leaders of the 10 ASEAN member countries and officials of the ASEAN Secretariat to visit Korea from August 28 to September 3. As part of the program, the guests will visit major institutions related to ASEAN countries to examine exchanges and trade between Korea and the Southeast Asia region. They will also seek to enrich their understanding of the culture, politics, economy and other aspects of their host country.
  On September 1, the visitors will attend the opening ceremony of the ASEAN Culture House in Busan. The House was established as a result of the ASEAN-Republic of Korea Commemorative Summit, and will be managed by the KF in cooperation with the Korean Foreign Ministry and the Busan Metropolitan City Administration. The House will expedite exchange and friendship between Korea and Southeast Asian countries through exhibitions, performances and educational programs.
