World Activity Class Summer Workshop

Braving the weatherman’s warning against extreme heat, the World Activity Class held its 2017 summer workshop in the first week of August. The “Meeting the World in Korea” session featured activities that were different from the usual format. In the past, the foreign volunteers introduced each of their countries and cultures and made friends among themselves, but this time, they had the opportunity to learn and experience Korean culture.
In the morning, the class made pottery, and, in the afternoon, they visited the K-Style Hub where they toured around the Korean Food Exhibition Hall and took part in a class on making fans with Korean traditional paper. They also had the time to review their program in the first half of this year and exchanged opinions on what kind of events they will do next year and on how to manage their team. The teammates’ enthusiasm was hotter than the weather and the World Activity Class is expected to become more active in the coming days with their energy recharged during the summer workshop.
