2018 KF Invitation Program for Distinguished Guest

The KF will invite Alisher Khadjaev, the Chairman of the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan (NTRC), to Korea on May 21–25. The NTRC, Uzbekistan’s largest broadcasting corporation, is the nation’s leading source of news and cultural dissemination.
  Having led the NTRC since 2005, Khadjaev is one of the most influential media figures in Uzbekistan. He is known to have friendly views of Korea and hopes to understand his host country better by visiting sites of rich cultural heritage. He will pay a further visit to the Korean Broadcasting System and other major broadcasting companies to promote cooperation between the NTRC and Korean networks. He will meet with Korean broadcasters to discuss exchange of content and the training of broadcasting engineers.
  Khadjaev’s visit is expected to encourage the flow of documentaries, films, dramas, and other radio and television programs, fostering bonds of friendship between the peoples of Korea and Uzbekistan and forming the basis of cooperation to upgrade the bilateral relationship.
