Non-Verbal Musical ‘CHEF’ to Go on Central American Tour
The KF will sponsor the presentation of the non-verbal musical CHEF in three Central American countries on June 2–12 as part of its culture and arts initiative for strategic areas. CHEF will tour Honduras, the Dominican Republic, and Jamaica, with a total of five performances in the Honduran capital of Tegucigalpa and the northern city of San Pedro Sula; the Dominican Republic’s capital Santo Domingo; and the Jamaican capital, Kingston.
A culinary comedy focusing on bibimbap, one of the most popular Korean dishes, CHEF does not feature any pre-recorded sound effects. Through beatboxing, a cappella singing, B-boying, and martial arts, the cast invites the audience to a world of wit and exhilarating excitement.
The KF hosts culture and arts events in cooperation with Korean diplomatic missions overseas to help enhance international understanding of Korea.
