‘Carpets, Pearls of Azerbaijan’

The KF holds an exhibition highlighting Azerbaijani carpets on November 26–December 19 in cooperation with the Azerbaijan Embassy in Korea.
  Entitled Carpets, Pearls of Azerbaijan, the show is staged at the KF Gallery, introducing the carpet weaving art that plays a major role in Azerbaijan’s national culture, sitting as it does at the crossroads of Eastern Europe and Western Asia. The exhibition brings to Korea carpets of varied patterns and symbols that testify to the indigenous techniques of weaving, composition, ornamentation, and design, showcasing uniquely independent art works, not merely simple specimens for interior decoration.
  As the KF Gallery’s final exhibition of the year, the carpet show is expected to draw keen attention of art lovers across the nation, conveying the artistic splendor of Azerbaijan to locals and foreign visitors alike.
