KF Korean Language and Culture Program for Diplomats

The KF will conduct its Korean Language and Culture Program for 43 foreign diplomats from 43 countries from March 11–May 31. A welcoming ceremony will be held on March 8 in the presence of foreign ambassadors and officials from the Foreign Ministry and related institutions.
  Throughout the program, the foreign diplomats will attend special lectures on Korean language and Korean Studies at Seoul National University and will deepen their understanding of Korea by visiting the ministry and the Korea National Diplomatic Academy and meeting officials in charge of matters related to each of their countries and regions. In the last week of May, the participants will visit Jeju Island in cooperation with the office of Jeju Special Self-Governing Province.
  This program has been conducted every year since 2005, while 34 foreign diplomats from 33 countries participated last year. Participants work as Korea specialists on the international diplomatic stage after completing the program.
