Korean Studies Reception to be Held at AAS Meeting
2017 AAS-in-Asia Korean Studies Reception

A Korean Studies reception will be hosted on March 21–24, sponsored by the KF, during the annual meeting of the Association for Asian Studies (AAS) in Denver, Colorado. The event is designed to emphasize the importance of Korean Studies not only to Korean Studies scholars but to academics whose research is focused on Japan, China, and other Asian regions but with a direct or indirect link to Korea.
  The event is also expected to build as momentum in connecting and establishing exchanges among Korean Studies and Asian Studies scholars, as well as senior academics and next-generation researchers.
  AAS is the world’s largest and one of the most acclaimed academic conferences on Asian Studies. More than 3,000 Asian Studies scholars from around the world will attend the upcoming meeting. The event will feature 22 panels on Korean Studies, and experts in different fields will share their research and discuss means of future growth.
