KF Gallery Open Stage 2:
Romanian Violinist Alexandru Tomescu
The acclaimed Romanian violinist Alexandru Tomescu, who is especially popular in Europe, will be coming to take the stage in Seoul on June 10 at the KF Gallery. Tomescu is also proficient in Korean, having learned the language independently, and won the gold prize in a Korean speech contest in 2007. In 2012, his love for Korea was duly recognized by the Korean government through his appointment as a public diplomacy goodwill ambassador. Tomescu will undoubtedly charm Korean audiences again this year during his KF Gallery concert just as he did in Europe. Tomescu will be playing the renowned Stradivarius Elder-Voicu violin, to great public acclaim.
* Concert attendance will be free of charge for those who apply in advance. Application information is available on the KF website (www.kf.or.kr).
