Open Contest for 2024 KF Public Diplomacy Projects

From February 1 to 22, the KF will invite applications for the open contest of its 2024 KF Public DiplomacyProjects program. This initiative is aimed at supporting citizens who independently plan and implement publicdiplomacy projects. Last year, a total of 10 teams were selected through the open contest. They carried out avariety of projects, in which some 3,500 people in 14 countries participated.

This year, applications will be received for projects on such themes as sustainable solutions to environmentalproblems, the promotion of universal values, neighborhood-oriented public diplomacy, public diplomacy throughscience and technology cooperation, and global cultural exchange connecting Korea and the rest of the world.As was the case last year, preference will be given to public diplomacy projects utilizing digital platforms.

All Korean citizens are eligible to take part in the open contest. Their keen interest and participation inthe annual projects will be greatly appreciated.
