[Review] Invitation to Korea for Next-Generation Indian Leaders
The KF invited eight next-generation leaders of India to Korea on November 5–11 in a pilot project to expand cultural exchange between the two countries. Following this initial success, the project will be fully implemented next year. The eight visitors represented all walks of life, including the political, economic, and sociocultural sectors. They learned about Korea’s culture and economic and security situation by visiting the Korean Society for Indian Studies and other related institutions, while also touring palaces, Bulguksa Temple, museums, and the Hyundai Motor Group and Heavy Industries’ Ulsan plant.
One participant who was visiting Korea for the first time said, “Korea was not very familiar to me, for I didn’t have much contact with the country. But now I know our two countries have been quite good friends for a long time. I expect we will have greater mutual cooperation in the future, not only economically, but in various other fields.”
