The KF is presenting the 2018 White Paper on Korean Studies Abroad, an updated and extended version of the 2007 White Paper on Korean Studies Abroad. The 2018 White Paper contains comprehensive information on Korean Studies programs abroad, including a list of 1,348 universities and establishments that offer Korean Language and Korean Studies courses. The resource features 450 institutions offering either degree courses or Korean Studies classes, in addition to detailed information on major Korean Studies centers and academic associations related to the field in the world.
  According to a recent survey, compared to 2007, when the first edition of the White Paper was released, the number of universities and higher institutions that offer Korean Language and Korean Studies programs has more than doubled from 632 in 55 countries to 1,348 in 105 countries, while that of Korean Studies centers has also increased by twofold from 43 in 16 countries to 113 in 30 countries.
  The information contained in the White Paper will be stored as an online database, open to the public through the KF website, and related information will be frequently updated.
