[Review] Third Korea-Vietnam Future Forum

The third Korea-Vietnam Future Forum was held in Hanoi on November 21 co-sponsored by the KF, Sogang University Institute for East Asian Studies, and the Vietnam Academy of Social Sciences.
The theme of the forum was “Promotion of the Korea-Vietnam Relationship towards a Comprehensive-Strategic Cooperative Partnership,” and participants from the two countries looked back upon the 25 years of bilateral cooperation since the establishment of diplomatic ties in 1992. The two sides discussed the future prospects of their bilateral relationship, as well as how to upgrade cooperation in the political, economic, and sociocultural fields. Participants made policy proposals to their respective governments based on the fruits of their discussions, thus laying the groundwork for further promotion of friendly ties. The fourth forum will be held in Korea in 2019.
