‘Friendship Diary’: Exhibition of Third ACH Photo & Video Contest Winners

From December 15 through January 20, an exhibition of photographs and videos selected from the Third ACH Photo & Video Contest held by the KF-operated ASEAN Culture House will be on display at the KF Gallery in Seoul. The show was previously exhibited at the ACH in Busan.

The exhibition is titled Friendship Diary, as it features close friends who wrote diaries together and shared their daily experiences. Koreans and people from ASEAN countries became friends on different occasions, at different places, and at different times, creating a harmony that is as pleasant as a day recorded in the Friendship Diary.

Busan-based visual artist Lee Dong-geun and painter Hwang In-ji have also joined in the exhibition. The lives of ASEAN people who have come to Korea for work, marriage, or study, are shown to be both ordinary and extraordinary in the interpretation by the artists. Viewers will be able to appreciate scenes of coexistence and exchange between ASEAN and Korea.
