Korea Tops Asia in Health Inclusivity Index

Korea topped Asia in an inaugural study of health inclusivity in 40 countries conducted by the global research group Economist Impact on commission from the leading consumer healthcare company Haleon.

Korea ranked sixth in the health inclusivity index (HII), which measures whether national policies, systems, and cultures provide every member of society with the opportunity to optimize their health. The index aims to facilitate dialogue with policymakers and healthcare professionals and spur action on health inclusivity.

The UK had the highest HII, followed by Australia, France, Germany, and Sweden.
