The KF and the US think tank Pacific Council on International Policy (PCIP) will jointly hold the Seoul-LA Forum in Los Angeles on March 31.
  With the new US administration taking visible steps to implement isolationist policies based on protectionist aims, the global business environment is expected to witness a number of changes. The Seoul-LA Forum will serve as a platform for discussion between the two countries on pertinent issues on the economy, trade, and industry. The forum will include a keynote address by a high-level US official and presentations and discussions on economic, trade, and technological cooperation by specialists from both sides.
  The KF has maintained dialogue channels for political and security talks with US experts from the East Coast and is working to develop a consultative body for mutually sustainable development with partners located on the West Coast by opening dialogue channels in the areas of economy, trade, and industry. The upcoming forum is expected to go beyond security consultations to strengthen bilateral relations in the economy and trade as well as technological cooperation.
