Public Diplomacy Training Camp

The KF will host a Public Diplomacy Training Camp on August 25–31 aimed at supporting exchange among young people worldwide. This year, as a follow-up program of the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympics, the camp targets young people who are interested in winter sports from Asian countries where such sports are not widely practiced. Participants will visit the Olympic venues and practice winter sports. Also participating in the camp will be Korean students and other Asian students studying in Korea. The camp is expected to hear active discussion about the development of Southeast Asian countries’ potential for winter games and achieving lasting peace on the Korean Peninsula through sports exchange.
