Centennial of March 1 Movement to Be Celebrated with Cultural Events in Russia, Germany

The KF will host performances of the traditional Korean drum band TAGO in Russia and Germany in celebration of the centenary of the March 1 Independence Movement and the establishment of the Korean Provisional Government.
TAGO: Korean Drum will be presented four times from September 12–20. Performances will be held in St. Petersburg and Veliky Novgorod, Russia, and in Frankfurt and Würzburg, Germany.
Under the slogan of “Light Up the World by Beating Drums,” TAGO will brighten stages with their creative performances based on traditional Korean arts. The company hopes to enhance foreigners’ interest in and understanding of Korea’s traditional drumming and cultural creativity.
