Today, the international community faces complex challenges, including fast-paced technological innovation, the climate crisis, and shifting geopolitical dynamics. In this time of profound transformation, the role of public diplomacy—grounded in trust and mutual understanding—is more important than ever. In response, the KF is strengthening the depth of its engagement to build resilient partnerships and ensure that Korea’s voice reaches around the world, even amid rapidly changing global conditions.

In 2026, the KF aims to further expand the dynamism of its activities. While reinforcing existing networks, the KF will broaden the scope of its cooperation curto include key regions of the Global South, particularly Latin America and Southeast Asia, thereby contributing to a more balanced ecosystem of international collaboration. At the same time, the KF will enhance public participation programs and regional initiatives so that Korean citizens can experience the value of public diplomacy in their daily lives, realizing a model of public diplomacy that grows in step with the people.

Furthermore, the KF will expand the foundation of public diplomacy nationwide through closer collaboration with local governments, public institutions, and universities, and will strive to become a trusted organization through transparent communication with the public.

Moving forward, the KF will continue to work closely with partners around the world, doing its utmost to ensure that Korea’s voice and values are conveyed in a balanced and meaningful way within the international community.
