1. Since 1994, the Korea Foundation (KF) has been offering scholarships and research support to foreign graduate students and postdoctoral researchers specializing in Korea-related fields. Our programs help international graduate students at the MA and PhD levels to pursue their studies and research on Korea. Additionally, we provide a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship to assist scholars to focus on Korea-related research even after completing their doctoral degrees. Through these scholarship and fellowship programs, the KF nurtures the next generation of Korean studies scholars while promoting the activities of Korea specialists worldwide.
2. The KF is now accepting applications for the Korea Foundation 2025-26 North America Scholarship for Graduate Studies & Fellowship for Postdoctoral Research. Interested applicants can submit their applications for these programs via apply.kf.or.kr between January 6 and February10 2025 (by 18:00 KST).For more details, please refer to the attached file.

- Graduate Studies M.A. or Ph.D. students currently enrolled in graduate programs at a university located outside of Korea and focusing on a Korea related topic in the humanities, social sciences, arts & cultural studies, media & comunications, contemporary Korea, science and technology
- Postdoctoral Research Scholars who recently obtained a Ph.D. in the humanities, social sciences, arts & cultural studies, media & comunications,contemporary Korea, science and technology
