Korea-ASEAN Public Policy Special Seminar
2019 Korea-ASEAN Special Workshop on Public Policy Reform
The KF and the University of New South Wales in Australia have joined hands in building a community to promote exchange and cooperation between Korea and eight members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) through comparative research and the application of best practices.
From January 21 to 23, in Bangkok, Thailand, a special seminar will be held to enable vice minister-level officials and academics from the nine countries to share the results of their research.
The special seminar is expected to deal with governmental capabilities for COVID-19 prevention and quarantines, and economic countermeasures to overcome the pandemic crisis. Participants are expected to reaffirm their common belief that policy cooperation is pivotal among ASEAN countries where mutual exchange is vigorous, and that global cooperation needs to be further expanded.
