KF Mt. Halla Forum to be Held in September
On September 2 and 3, the KF will hold the 2021 KF Mt. Halla Forum, a
hybrid event combining in-person and online meetings. On the occasion
of the 30th anniversary of the KF’s founding, the forum aims to share
messages and visions for Korea’s future with people around the world.
Under the theme of “Opening a New Chapter: Future Game Changers,” the
forum will discuss game-changing ideas and provide diverse insights
into and predictions for the future.
Events will include the Planning Session, in which prominent Korean
experts will brainstorm game-changing ideas and visions for various
fields; the Young Innovators Session, in which young innovators will
share their experiences and opinions on the future; and the Special
Session, in which highly acclaimed German philosopher Markus Gabriel
will conduct a dialogue with other experts on future issues.
Additional events will include the KF 30th Anniversary Session, in
which participants will review the KF’s intellectual exchange projects
and talk about directions for future development; the Jeju Future
Session, which will provide an opportunity to listen to Jeju
Island-based social leaders; and the Jeju. Experience Session, which
will introduce the island’s unique culture and tourist assets to the
world.
